VENTILATION
VENTILATION SYSTEMS
What is a Ventilation System?
Ventilation systems are mechanical systems that are installed in order to replace the polluted air in the workplace without heating or by heating, with the help of natural flow, effective pressure or a mechanical effect (ventilator), by absorbing air from the relevant environment or supplying fresh air to this environment.
Workplace ventilation is done to control exposure to pollutants in the air. Generally, it is used to remove impurities such as smoke, dust and steam in order to provide a healthy and safe working environment.
Ventilation can be done naturally (such as opening a window) or mechanically (fans, blowers).
Ventilation systems are designed to remove unwanted pollutants (or “exhaust”) by moving a certain amount of air at a certain speed. All ventilation systems basically follow the same principles; however, a separate system design should be made for each workplace, according to the type of work and the pollutant rate in the workplace.
